The past year I got to learn to sharpen my gaze and follow my intuition unapologetically. It’s this very calm, neutral and certain feeling which tells you “THIS is what I want to do now” 🪷

Essentially, it’s the voice inside of you that starts talking once your monkey brain is calm & your inner child relaxed.
How to get your monkey brain calm though?  > check one of my recent posts in which I dive deeper into that.

At the same time, breaking the habit of DOING IT ALL,
requires an honest look at the current inventory 🤍

Because, depending how long you’ve been neglecting that inner voice,
and acted mainly on opinions of others,
out of fear or desire to fit in,
the more silent this voice might be 👀

Unpacking it, getting to know the current inventory, the current narrative, requires space. Which sometimes looks as simple as blocking out empty pockets of time. 45-60 minutes on the couch… 🤌🏼

With my clients I go through body activations, EFT tapping, confronting questions and/or a hypnosis session, to get to the core of it all. NLP helps then to re-program the still present narrative!!

Uncomfortable? Yes. Does it require commitment? Yes.
But if the outcomes are grounded confidence,
Trust, total self acceptance and
an open field for connection,

“It’s only gonna work if you do it more often,

“It’s only gonna work if you do it more often, isn’t it?!”
She said at yesterday’s workshop & hit a very important aspect of vision mapping.

Last year at this time I could have never imagined where I would be at now. And yet I did. And then again, and again.

I remember very vividly how Gianni and I sat up there, watching the sunrise on Aruba, reflecting on the year that past and what’s ahead of us.

We both hit our goals - and even exceeded our expectations!! I mean, looking at Gianni too, he was just finishing his traineeship with no guaranteed landing job yet, and now he’s leading a production line of 20+ people!! 🥹♥️

I was at a point in which I got my main income from weekly Pilates classes, working for 5 different studios & now swapped it around with retreats, workshops, 1:1 pilates & long term coaching clients who I am incredibly proud of!!

And I definitely had my doubts, losses, dept and fears running the show! I had many days when I felt like a complete failure, felt I lost everything and anyone ..

And yet, it’s what was necessary to birth a new identity again. And again.

Meaning, following through & doing the inner work, the belief system calibration (it’s honestly so powerful), the inner child healing, the massive confrontations I signed up for when working with my coach @liza.leiss together, the 100% commitment, radical self acceptance & so much more …

I 100% agree, it didn’t come from one vision board / reflection session.

Its because we lock it in,
Work on it, daily,
Commit 100% to what we’re here for to do
Where we can contribute the best 💛

And I know we all have it.
That little spark.

So let this be your reminder, to pick yourself up, to put in the work, even if it’s painful sometimes.

You got this ♥️

Hand on heart: isn’t it super frustrating to alw

Hand on heart: isn’t it super frustrating to always get disappointed? When running after validation, approval and the acknowledgments? 🫠

& the hard truth:
It’s not necessarily the other person who isn’t empathetic enough to acknowledge what you don’t even acknowledge about yourself 🪞

If we keep on acting out of that lack,
We will keep on running around,
Trying to fill that lack.

Trying to help everyone (see yesterdays post too), trying to make it right, trying to perform and be the best, having all hats on at the same time ….

For me, I decided to change course,
And go the road of sustainable fulfilment.

Giving myself what I so desperately
Searched for, from others. ♥️

And here are a few steps that I’ve cultivated over time:
- accepting myself fully, with all cracks, flaws and imperfections

- Address conflicts and speak up about what’s bothering, even if it creates tension

- Recognising my own needs and expressing them, even if it feels like a burden to someone else

- Forgiving others, even if they never apologize, so i can find peace within myself.

- Saying no or turning down plans when my body needs rest, even if it disappoints others.

- Letting go of things that once mattered to me but are now holding me back from true happiness

Our happiness depends on our willingness to tend to our needs. It’s in our hands ♥️

& you deserve to feel loved.

I know... that’s easier said than done, right? B

I know... that’s easier said than done, right? But let me explain and break this down for you 👇🏼

It’s about letting go of the idea that you are responsible for how others feel.

Often, we feel like we need to “fix” things or take on other people’s emotions to help them feel better, especially when it comes to setting boundaries, right?!

However, it’s important to remember that everyone has the right to feel hurt or disappointed.

People are allowed to feel upset 🫡

But here is the key: They can handle it. They have their own emotional resilience. And they can process their feelings.

It’s not your job to shield them from discomfort ✨

And, more importantly, you need to trust yourself to handle your own feelings.

Once you realize that someone else’s problems aren’t yours to fix and stop taking everything personally, you’ll notice how much easier it becomes to manage your own feelings.

Quick disclaimer: The “helper’s syndrome” often has a deeper origin, and it’s something you need to address in order to completely release it…
