Our lovely ego just wants to protect us, keep us safe. It has pretty’s compelling words that make us think we’ll thrive in our comfort zone (limbic brain calling)… 
>> so it will remind us that stepping OUTSIDE of the zone is scary, uncomfortable, and never a good idea.

It may sound like this:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*What if i fail?
*What if i fall flat on my face?
*What if people laugh at me?
*What if someone thinks I am stupid?
*What if my idea never manifests into reality? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In relation to that: here’s what FEAR actually is…

>>> Fear is an illusion of the ego. Fear is made up in your brain to protect you from danger like the tiger 🐅 (back in the good old days)

Our brains have not evolved yet the times have changes tremendously. There is no tiger. But your brain doesn’t know that. Aka everything unfamiliar is seen as a danger 🙃

Therefore, we tend to limit ourselves because we think our ego is right. We think our ego is protecting us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What I choose instead:
courage over comfort in the pursuit of what sets my soul on fire🔥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As I feel called...
To grow. To be brave, bold, and unapologetically you. To discover.
To create. And to play.

I don’t know about you, but it probably happened

I don’t know about you, but it probably happened once or twice to me that I didn’t know if I was actually heading north, west, south or east.
Didn’t know which other cities are around that destination so that I could have find direction by READING THE SIGNS, on the road,
instead of blindly following that navigation, purely focusing on the end goal.

My parents called me out on this.
Since they used to navigate with an actual map,
knowing which cities/ towns are on the way,
which ones they must pass,
in order to reach their goal.
AND therefore, knowing which ones are
worth to visit, for a pitstop, along the way.

reading the map instead of blindly following… means for business & marketing: choose the navigation system that works for your individual goal.

1. dial in the coordinates , aka. get clear on your intentions / purpose
2. fuel up your car aka. understand which resources you’d need in order to maintain that energy for the journey you’re on
3. read the signs aka. understand & listen to your physical and/or mental blockages AND read what your clients reflect back to you
4. have pit stops along the way, re-directing your route from there aka. re-fuel by clearing out those blockages and get new insights from it AND fine-tune your messaging, presence, and expertise
5. enjoying the ride, choosing to let other people drive, letting some fresh air in every once in a while; aka. keep on growing by allowing support from mentors, partner, friends, and coaches who help to get some fresh air into your car

One of Bowlby and Ainsworth’s most important ins

One of Bowlby and Ainsworth’s most important insights in their research in “attached” is that „in order to thrive and grow as human beings, we need a secure base from which to derive strength and comfort. For that to happen, our attachment system must be calm and secure“ 🙏🏽

Cool, calm, collected.

When I got thrown off the rails and got the chance to re-define myself on many different levels,
I was wondering too,
how do I create that safety,
that secure foundation, again?!

So often we then search in the external,
searching for confirmation,
start pleasing others in order to fit in,
in order to feel safe, as a part of that group.

And what I found very misleading in this approach is,
that it creates a sense of safety, as long as you bend to the expectations from that group, or other person.
being someone we are simply not, creates misalignment,
disconnection, and inner conflict 😵‍💫

identifying, acknowledging and accepting your needs,
is a more fulfilling, and long-lasting approach I believe,
in which we create safety from the inside out,
as we own our story, and act upon our chosen values,
our own authentic self,

in the book “attached” they even say: being your authentic self, which has been found to contribute to our general feelings of happiness and fulfillment, and being happy and fulfilled is probably one of the most attractive traits you can offer a partner 🤝

for your partner, for your friends and family,
FOR your OWN SAFETY and trust in your path.

I learned a lot. I could change my mindset towards my problem and mostly I FELT it.

Which I think is also the crucial step, because if we don’t feel it we’re not gonna ACT on it.

I really liked her methods, felt super safe with her, super heard and seen. And I would always do it again“.

@judiemotion shares so much truth in this short review on the coaching session we had the other day, in which she re-connected to her inner wisdom, FEELING what is her individual truth, her intention and purpose,
so that she feels empowered,
to ‚solve her problem‘ 👀

And that’s the most powerful transformation you can achieve!!

Mindset matters if it moves behaviors.
If it triggers action.

At the end of our session she reflected on
how she thought this session would go.
That I would tell her basically how I did it.
But then very well said,
that this result is much better,
because SHE is the one who gets
to live with that outcome eventually.
And therefore, needs to feel aligned to HER ♥️🙏🏽

Sometimes, the best thing to do as a coach,
is to be a „sounding board“,
listening to the situation on hand,
and making it easier,
to find your own solutions.

It might not be as satisfying ⁠
As “fixing” things, ⁠
But it’s more empowering ⁠
For them in the long run 💪🏽⁠
⁠
remember: you are the expert in your own life.⁠
It’s up to you to find the solutions that works best for you.⁠

“Simplicity is the ultimate refinement”

This couldn’t be more true.
In the 21st century, in which information moves as quickly
as light and opportunities for innovation
and growth seem
endless,
we have a vastness of choices
when it come to designing
your dream life and careers 🚀

The vastness of choices…
a privilege, sense of freedom,
and something we’re all longing for,
aren’t we?!

And yet, the vastness of choices…
often lead to complication,
in-action or confusion.
What am I gonna do then?
Which niche should I position myself in?
Which product should I launch next?

Studies have shown that the more product choices a consumer
is faced with, the fewer products they actually buy 🤯

I mean it makes sense, doesn’t it?!
Narrowing down the best product out of three choices is certainly a lot easier than narrowing down the best product from a pool of hundreds of choices.

It’s the same with life & biz choices.
If you complicate your life by confronting yourself with too many choices,
your subconscious mind will
give up.

The solution: s.i.m.p.l.i.f.y

>> If you’re trying to make a decision in your life, don’t waste your time evaluating every last detail of every possible option.
Choose something that you think will work, that you feel could be fun, and give it a shot!!
& if it doesn’t work out, learn what you can do differently form this experience, choose something else and keep moving forward.

Repetitively saying you “don’t know what you w

Repetitively saying you “don’t know what you want” is just a protection mechanism to keep you safe.⁣ And unfortunately, play small.⁣
⠀⁣
The truth is: You DO know what you want.⁣
⠀⁣
It has always been buried inside of you.
And if you release all your fears surrounding,
being OKAY with unapologetically knowing,
what you want, it’ll become very clear for you.
⠀⁣
When my clients say the affirmation,
“I don’t know what I want”,
I start questioning it,
not believing it for, truly..

And after revealing the
truth behind that statement,
all of a sudden
their desires become
clear 🤍
⠀⁣
If you feel like you don’t know what you want in life, here’s what ACTUALLY might be happening:⁣

🌞 You’re afraid of what others will think of your desires or you’re self-judging yourself for wanting something other then what you were conditioned to want⁣

🌞 You don’t believe what you want is possible, so you choose something way, way smaller than your dreams just to avoid disappointing yourself (which is a lose-lose because you still end up disappointing yourself)⁣
⁣
🌞 You’re overwhelmed by what you think it’ll take for you to get to what you want. You get caught up in the HOW... You think it’s going to be extremely hard work. ⁣
